Cliff and Tabea Jacobs spent more than two years in their search for the perfect setting for their long - cherished dream: the perfect Guest House.

Today the VILLA BELMONTE stands as a monument to their patience. Built in 1903, altered in 1919 in the Cape Dutch Revival Style by architect, Mello G Damstra, it breathes grace and elegance.

With ten bedrooms en suite, beautifully and individually appointed, each with its own telephone, remote-controllled TV and overhead fan and/or airconditioner and fully stocked mini-bar, safe and work desk; a welcoming lounge with old fashioned fireplace; an elegant diningroom and cosy bar, you'll immediately feel right at home.

For the businessman there is a conference room accomodating up to 12 people (boardroom style) and equipped with a flipchart, whiteboard, screen and overhead projector.

To meet the ongoing unparalled demand for accomodation at VILLA BELMONTE, two additional luxuriously appointed, air-conditioned, garden-facing rooms are scheduled to be in operation in November 1996.




Private business breakfasts, luncheons and dinners, as well as small cocktail functions, are offered on request, and, to date, a number of high-powered conferences and several state banquets have been catered for.
