Peter Teurlings is a registered professional environmental scientist and founder of Teurlings Environmental cc. He has a MSc (Geography) degree from the Rand Afrikaans University. Peter has worked as an environmental officer for the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism and as an environmental scientist for Stewart Scott International and Bohlweki Environmental.
Peter has an intimate knowledge of central and provincial environmental goverment departments as he is the author of the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism's Environmental Legislation booklets, published in four parts; as well as the co-author of the EIA Review Manual for the Gauteng Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Evironment.
Peter specialises in, but is not limited to, environmental impact assesments for sewage infrastucture, water infrastructure and roads; environmental management plans for the above; environmental law; environmetal manuals and guidelines; and environmental project management.
Peter is a member of the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (Registration number 400027/95), the South African Society of Geographers and the South African Chapter of the International Association for Impact Assessments.
