South African Waterfront Villa

Eagles Landing Estate is situated on the edge of Hartbeespoort Dam. By road, the estate is one hour north-west of Johannesburg. It is also about 35 minutes north of Sandton, and 25 minutes west of Pretoria. Lanseria regional airport is 20 minutes away.

The accommodation consists of a fully furnished, modern, detached, double-storey house. Ground level includes a large open-plan lounge, kitchen, fully fitted bar area and a guest toilet. There is also an entertainment area including a small swimming pool and under-cover barbecue facilities, private slipway, private jetty, a huge sundeck over the water and a double garage with automatic doors. Upstairs there are four double bedrooms, and three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. Three of the bedrooms lead on to a large patio which provides panoramic views of Hartbeespoort dam and the Magalies Mountains beyond.

The location of Eagles Landing Estate makes it an ideal base for many activities. The estate borders the new Jack Nicklaus-designed course of Pecanwood Estate. It is only sixty minutes to the famous Gary Player courses at Sun City and there are a number of other golf developments around Hartbeespoort Dam itself. In addition, there are several game reserves in the vicinity and game-viewing can be arranged.

The estate has 24-hour on site security and entrance is through a manned gatehouse. The relaxed lifestyle of the residents is evident throughout.  Beautiful gardens and walking paths supplement the large communal swimming pool and entertainment area set in a small private island in the dam. Bird life is abundant in the area and fishing is very popular.

Nestling in the foot-hills of the Magalies Mountains, there are also  opportunities for following numerous hiking trails. Horseriding and cycling are also popular.
