During 1988 the desire to have their own Temple became strong again and a decision was taken in May 1999 to start building on the Soetwater site The foundation stone was laid on 3 July 1999 by Rt Wor Brother G Schuitemaker Provincial Grand Master Eastern Division. Consecration took place on 15 April 2000, conducted by the Grand Master M W Brother B G Lindeque, the Lodge's Installation date and 25th anniversary.
