Who and What is ROTEX?

ROTEX is an organisation for exchange students who have returned from their exchange and want to continue helping the Exchange Program. We serve as a social and support group for students involved in the Youth Exchange program aswell as helping with the orientation events for in-bound and out-bound students, organising monthly social events and other activities. Anyone interested in going on exchange or organising a talk by ROTEX at your school should contact us by email

Although ROTEX is not an official program of Rotary International, RI encourages the formation of ROTEX groups

The purpose of ROTEX

to share experiences with outbound students, club members, and the
community

to aid recently returned outbound students in their readjustment to
their native country

to aid in the selection and orientation of the outbound students

to promote the Youth Exchange program by speaking to potential
exchangees, host families, and Rotary clubs

to assist in arranging, planning, and chaperoning inbound student
activities

to act as junior Youth Exchange counselors

to aid in the arrival of inbound students

to improve the Youth Exchange program

to continue to promote world understanding and peace among people of all
nationalities
