Pedro Espi-Sanchis tours schools and festivals worldwide with a selection of musical story-telling shows. Pedro lives in Cape Town (South Africa) and has a mass following amongst South African children from his "Pedro the Music Man" television series and his schools tours which bring him into contact with an average of seven thousand children a month. He also has played a significant part in high school education: He was head of the music department at the Giyani College of Higher Education (Northern Province) for five years during which time he developed a music syllabus based on traditional and urban African music. Since returning to Cape Town in 1994 he has worked for leading publishers producing arts education materials. In recent years he has been invited to many festivals in Europe and the USA.
