    SLEEPING BAGS

    Rectangular

    The classic rectangular shape generously cut the shoulders and torso slightly tapered towards the foot. This is important to give maximum insulation in the area which is usually the first to feel the cold - your feet! A "foor friendly zipper" (SA Registered design) - to give ventilation when it is too warm or even to get up and walk around in the bag. The bag can be opened out and laid flat to form a duvet or joined to another bag to form a double. Versatility is its middle name. Available in a range of fabric choices and down fills.

    Cowl Shape

    First Ascent have revolutionised thinking about cowl top sleeping bags. By incorporating our "foor friendly zipper" (SA Registered design) we have created a bag which has all the features of a standard rectangular (including the generous cut) but has the added advantage of a cowl to keep your head warm. When not required the hood can be turned inside out and used as a built in pillow. Comfort, versatility and style all in one. Available in a range of fabric choices and sown fills.     Action Shirt
     Made from S100 Bi-Polar, perfect for hiking or working out, this shirt will keep you looking good and feeling comfortable no matter how active you are. Available in both short & long sleeve.

    Action Pants
    Made from S100 Bi-Polar they can be used as a first layer for cold or only layer in warmer weather. With Taslan patches on the knees and seat they are great for climbing.

    Ear Muff
    When you are skiing - just to keep the ears warm. Made from Polartec S300.

    Beanie Muff
    Its a scarf and a beanie combined. Perfect for the cold nights. Made from Polartec S300.

    Spreader Net
    SA Registered Design. Using shock-corded fibreglass poles this net, when assembled hangs from a central point but creates a very large area of protection. This gives a feeling of space which is unparalleled. Zippered entrance points are provided on the sides. Great for home but also for camping when packing space is not a concern.
