The Cape Calligraphy Teachers Guild was founded in 1989 by a group of calligraphy teachers who where committed to raising the standard of the teaching of calligraphy by forming a professional body, the teachers have become colleagues and friends and there is a spirit of sharing of expertise and knowledge within the group. This manual is aimed at meeting the needs of the new teacher as well providing the practising teacher with new insights and inspiration.
