The virtual one-handed clap Haiku Prize

The virtual on-line
one-handed clap haiku prize
goes to Roy's  Haiku

(despite the fact
that it is not biologically correct):

Strings of frogs’ eggs fill
the water between the grass.
Light runs towards my eyes.

Roy Blumenthal
the pool opens up
the gelatinous frogs’ eggs
green, stinking, slimy

Karen van den Bergh
dragon flies tango
to a hot photonic tune --
        afternoon opens

Judy Miller

January haiku

A rich silence tonight.
Despite its wealth I see
nothing in detail.

Ken Barris
frog-slime pool; birds buzz
loud insects in a haze of
reflected photons

Mike Cope

My computer screen
sheds photons like frog spawn
fertilizing my eye.

Roy Blumenthal

  My eggs now floating,
clinging each to the other,
yearning for choc'late.
