IMSSU holds a World Championship every 2 years.

The first was in 1994 in France

1996 in Cape Town, South Africa

1998 was in Sipoo, Finland

2000 in Brisbane, Australia

2002 was back in France

2004 was in Bloemfontein, South Africa

and the 2006 will also be held in South Africa.
