TOO LATE
Her husband attended the SPIRITIST MEETING in
our town and when dying told her he would materialise and come back and
speak to her. Sure enough this message came and she went along and talked
to him. After a few encounters she became concerned and came to our friends'
home for advice. As true Christians they knew it was a Satanic deception
and warning her of the danger she was exposing herself to, exorted her
to trust in Jesus Christ before getting entangled any further. This happened
a few times and then one day she said, "It wasn't my husband, it was
the devil and he has appeared to me." They urged her all the more
to trust in Jesus and get deliverance from him, but still she hesitated.
The next time she came she said, "Satan has appeared to me again and
told me if I leave him he would kill my children and for my children's
sake I have chosen the devil," and then throwing up her hands said,
"and there he is now," as she swooned over onto the floor.
TRUE
This is a true story which, with some variations, could
be repeated millions of times the world over. Here Satan uses the same
tactics. A widow told us that in her grief a woman came to console her
and at what seemed an opportune moment suggested, wouldn't it be nice to
talk to her husband. Being a true Christian she said that her husband was
safely at Home with the Lord Jesus. The woman who was from the Satanist
organisation in the town, went out out quickly and returned no more.
INCREASING SATANIC ACTIVITY
Satan has always had multitudes of fallen angles at his
command but in all places where the Bible was faithfully proclaimed as
the LIVING WORD OF GOD Satan's activities were limited. But now
there is a determined effort worldwide to undermine the authority of God
and His Word, thereby giving Satan a freer hand.
People are in a vacuum, not knowing what to believe and the outlook, especially for the young, is so bleak they are prepared to give themselves to anything that might bring some sparkle into their monotonous existence.
While some turn to violence, many seek to find that sparkle in the great Rave gatherings and Rock concerts where, with the aid of drugs, they swirl around in a sea of ear-splitting sound and hypnotic lights,oblivious of what is actually taking place. But when it's over, life is so dull and depressing that the only refuge for many is another fix which so quickly leads into addictive slavery.
Seeing no way out and no hope of deliverance, more and more young and older ones, are taking Satan's advice and committing suicide.
WATCH OUT
There are an estimated 40 million land mines laid in
the world and multitudes of innocent people have lost limbs by stepping
on them. Satan has a host of spiritual land mines laid and it is very hard
to avoid them all. Many are in areas so enticing that the temptation is
to EXPERIMENT and INVESTIGATE the mysterious and unknown.
THE OUIJA BOARD, sold in millions as a game, promises to foretell your future and answer your various queries but it is one of Satan's deadly mines.
To their sorrow, some people have taken its advice:
"IT OFFERED ME something other worldly, said the young man;
so his girl friend started playing. It was fun to start with, no doubt,
but soon he became POSSESSED WITH FEAR while she heard voices and
saw frightening things. They sought deliverance through meditation but
it only grew worse. OTHER VOICES started speaking through her and
she ended up in a mental institution .
THE BOY IN THE HOSPITAL was staring at the ceiling, having violent outbursts and claiming to be Jesus and Moses; they had been playing ouija at the technical college!
THE 15 YEAR OLD BOY looked ashen. He had asked "the board" when he would die and it said 16!
THE GIRLS had been playing the ouija when one became possessed by a spirit that made her write messages on death and evil, outside her control .
SOME HAVE HEARD voices telling them to murder, even naming who to murder.
The ouija told the TWO GIRLS they would die soon so they jumped to their death from a tower block.
On several occasions, THE SPIRIT HAS REVEALED ITSELF when challenged, the tumbler usually leaping off the table and smashing on the floor, or by the furniture moving around the room or even being smashed.
Is it any wonder that mental institutions are so full and prisons overflowing?
NOTE In playing with ouija, the tarot, fortune telling, crystal ball reading, horoscopes, etc., YOU ARE NOT PLAYING A GAME but you are leaving yourself open to demonic spirits seeking a home.
DON'T SAY to yourself that you will not get hooked; one experiment may be all it takes because the lure of the unknown draws you on.
YOU DON'T REALLY WANT THIS
But might you be one of the MULTITUDES WHO COULD TESTIFY,
to their sorrow, of sleepless nights wracked by fearful apparitions, seeing
black demonic figures in the room; an unseen being with a strangling grip
on your throat so that you cannot call for help; something clinging to
you that you cannot get rid of; a chilling coldness in the room, a heavy
breathing when nobody is near; voices saying, "You are going to die,"
or urging you to commit suicide which many are doing.
If you should be hearing that voice or feeling that urge, STEP BACK QUICKLY because that is the fearful final step to which Satan drives his victims telling them it's the way out of their misery whereas it does but drive them deeper into it and for ever.
All these, and much more, are actual states into which people are driven; they are possessed by a SPIRIT OF FEAR, cannot bear the dark so must have a light on all the time. They long for the morning but shudder at the thought of another night approaching. They cannot bear to be left alone.
ANY HOPE OF DELIVERANCE?
A young Indian Guru in Jamaica was cornered by a big
cobra, and having no means of escape he could only hope in his Hindu gods.
Then the name of another god that his mother had told him about, came to
mind; a god called JESUS. Although he knew nothing about Jesus HE
CRIED TO HIM FOR HELP and to his amazement the snake slid back into
the bush.
This was an important step in leading him out of Hinduism into a vibrant faith in Jesus Christ and he is now a noted Christian worker.
You may not know much about Jesus, only hearing His name in swearing, but HE KNOWS ALL ABOUT YOU AND LOVES YOU no matter how low you may have sunk. He wants to rescue you and give you new life so you can have a PURPOSE IN LIVING.
One of the Bible writers testifies how he had sunk low but WHEN HE CRIED UNTO THE LORD, "He heard my cry and brought me up out of a horrible pit, and set my feet upon a rock and put a new song in my mouth." (Psalm 40:1-3 )
I, too, can testify to this because He lifted me out of the horrible pit of alcohol and despair, and now for many years I've had purpose in life.
THE FIRST ONE to meet Jesus after He rose from the dead was a woman out of whom He had cast seven devils. (Mark 16:9)
Satan must give way to Jesus so call upon Him to save you.
