Defa the dog the star of the show, but a little lazy. He is now 12  years old and less energetic, but still loves his daily beach walks with Robin. He climbs the tree less often, and only when excited to it by Robin. Perhaps age is catching up with both of them!
Robin is here less and less these days. I complete studying for an MBA (Masters of Business Administration) and trying to allow more young people to take the reigns and Entertain and promote Cape Town and South Africa. I am still the steering hand behind the scenes, trying new plans and in charge of travel planning, so please email me directly if you are looking for more travel assistance. Pat has been our star since the beginning! Now her main focus is looking after her grandson Solomon, a little gem in his own right. The pool table income goes towards educating Solomon, so feel free to play some more in the interests of his learning.She is hoping her house will be built in Steenberg this year. Mavis has the warmest smile you can imagine! She has been here since 1998 and has five daughters. This year she is planning to insulate her house and add hot water inside. See Shine The Way for her new venture. Mavis is here from Monday to Friday.
Carne has been the calming and stable manager here since 1998. She knows all the ins and outs of the Green Elephant, and is the next travel guru. She has been on most of the trips around Cape Town, and to Vic Falls on an overland, Kruger Park, the Garden Route and stayed in many backpackers. She will certainly help you to choose places to stay and pick suitable tours. See also Shine The Way .
Mavis Malone joined us in 2006 and had fitted in straight away. She is in charge of the Shine The Way house and also helps at the Green Elephant main houses.
Jacqui  has rejoined us after working for us in 2005 and she and Carne are the main managers.

Lebo has also returned from Gauteng to be with us for the rest of 2006 and into 2007. You will see him all over the place and in our photo gallery!

Patrick is our airport shuttle man and qualified tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a fantastic tour with Thembile. If you need anything when you arrive, he is the man to ask If he is unavailable, he organises Trevor or Ashraf to collect you from the airport.
