My forté is designing and building web sites that are effective and easy to use. I believe that good web design is about well thought-out structure and navigation as well as clever use of graphics and colour.

In other words: when I design a web site, I think about the users of that site and try to structure the site so that they can find their way around it easily, and quickly access the information they're after.

One disclaimer I have to make is that the web sites I design are limited in their interactivity and ecommerce scope. What I do best are online-brochure-type web sites for small businesses that need web presence but don't have the budget or the need for an all-singing, all-dancing web site.

In my experience, web sites that are relatively simple, straightforward and 'clean-looking' are often very effective in communicating their message. I use graphics, images, colour and some Javascript to enhance the site content, always making sure that web pages don't look too 'busy' and so distract or irritate the user.
