Identifying your motherboard can be achieved by a number of means.
The first way is to ask your supplier if it is not shown on the Invoice
or in the manufacturers manual you received on delivery.
Secondly you can use the BIOS version number which is found on the start up screen of the computer. For more information on how to do this go to the BIOS Page.
The third way is to open the case and see if you can find any identifying
marks such as the manufacturers name, a serial number or a model number
on the motherboard.
(TIP: If you are wanting to go to a newsgroup to try and help you identify
your motherboard you will need to give as much information as possible
- including marks, numbers, BIOS make and version number - or you will
find you will either get a 'sorry we need more info' or even worse totally
ignored!)
