Hello, you have found the Lesch Tool and Die home page we are situated Durban, South Africa. We are a growing small to medium company with pretty much all the necessary equipment to manufacture high quality press tools and plastic moulds. We are efficient CAD-CAM users with thirteen years experience using different CAD-CAM packages such as Peps, Edgecam and Mastercam software.
Our
company was established in 1985 in Jacobs (South Durban), mainly doing jobbing
for the rubber and motor trade, namely Phoenix rubber and TAC Automotive
components (Metlink) a division of Toyota SA. Over the years we produced
numerous press tools for them, mostly of the more complex nature. We have also
made numerous welding and checking fixtures for Toyota SA. Over the past few
years we have diversified into the plastics industry and have made a large
range and variety of moulds for various customers. We believe that we deliver a
high standard of workmanship in our tooling at a very reasonable price. We cost
our labour at approx 30$US /hour for CNC machining.
We
have expanded quite substantially over the past few years acquiring more sophisticated
machinery and tackling more complex and accuracy demanding tooling with success.
Over the last year we have started up a stamping division, specialising in manufacturing
aluminium radiator components. We have had installed a new Fanuc alpha 1iB wire
eroder, a C-Tek CNC mill and a Mori-Seiki SL5 cnc lathe in the past 6 months.
