The Rotary Foundation: Paul Harris Fellow Recognition
Through our Foundation, Rotarians with resources work with Rotarians who see a need locally. These groups work together -
Across international borders
Across language barriers
Across cultural differences and human biases
To fulfill these human needs
Through the various humanitarian and educational programmes we see resources and needs brought together. We see the mechanism that is our Rotary Foundation utilized to its fullest for the good of mankind.
A USD 1 000 contribution to our Foundation is more than just a monetary contribution, it means the wheels of the Foundations programmes are set in motion. Every USD 1 000 means that:
In the June 1998 issue of Rotary Africa our own PDG Dennis Daly urges us to "get excited, enthusiastic and participate in all the activities of our Foundation. In doing so your involvement will equip you to fulfill the role as a Foundation Advocate, which means your Rotary service will expand far beyond your wildest dreams".
By contributing USD 1 000 to The Rotary Foundation, the Trustees allow us the opportunity of granting Paul Harris Fellow recognition to individuals who are advocates of our Foundations goals.
