Originally built in 1902 for the Robinson family, this gracious homestead has been renovated and significantly expanded on three separate occasions. The most recent changed the homestead into a Guest House. Great care was taken during the conversion to preserve and enhance its many architectural features which remain from the original construction.
The accommodation consists of seven air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms each with their own desk, internet facility and television. The luxury bedrooms range in size and amenities and are all fit for a king!
The interior is decorated with an African theme.
To take advantage of Durban's temperate climate and create a feeling of being in the countryside, the cosy gardens have been landscaped to encourage outdoor relaxation.
Other facilities include a separate dining room and pub. Ample secure off-street parking is available.
The stately private function room, which can seat up to 80 people, is used for conferences, weddings, anniversaries and other special occasions. The venue regularly hosts art exhibitions and musical concerts.
