Profile

My thesis for a Masters of Science introduced me to computer programming. I specialized thereafter in the PC environment, programming for sports events, designing and implementing turnkey applications for business, training groups on applications and writing a manual for stock market analysis software. I became interested in web design in 1997 and have taken courses and completed a number of sites myself.

Together with my husband, organised an exhibition of 13 South African artists, which traveled to Los Angeles and Mexico.  During 1999 I traveled with my children to attend one of the openings, and toured thereafter to Canada.

During this period at WEN the debit order list grew from a value of R3,000 p.m. to over R50,000 p.m. and all aspects of developing and maintaining the database of subscribers were under her direction.

Reason for leaving : Promised training in Web design did not materialise, so I left to pursue it myself.
