From the Chair...

An eventful year full of challenges, changes and happenings, with quite a bit of Scouter Staff movement.

During the year we had a serious break-in, causing a lot of damage, and camping equipment was stolen. We had an attempted break-in with locks and doors damaged. Our handy men have done all the fixing and improved security - thank you to all concerned. Parents who could assist in any way would be most welcome for any future work required. Patrol boxes are now in position on the walls - thanks to Trout and Sparky. The Second Hand Clothing shop has been taken over by Helen Sands.

Our Hall is used by 1st Steps Play Group on a Thursday for which a fee is levied; Stellenberg Chapel on Sundays in exchange for the use of their tables when we have functions.

Our Boys and Girls have done very well this year in their various competitions. Congratulations to them and the Scouters on their achievements

For those who are not aware, there is remuneration for transport of lifting for events - R10 per 100 km per person lifted. Ensure that you receive this from the Scouter in charge, if you require it, as this fee is costed into the price of the event. Finally, a big thank you to the members of committee for the year.
