Our waterski trips take you on an hours drive from Cape Town central, up the Cape West Coast, to a dam on the Berg River half way between Cape Town and Clanwilliam. ( View Map) The water conditions are acclaimed to be the best within driving distance of Cape Town. Weather conditions during summer are hot and temperatures average 30 Celsius, while winter temperatures are in the lower 20's.We depart daily from pre-arranged departure points in Cape Town. On arrival at the ski resort, you will be welcomed by our team. After signing in and a quick change of clothing we will travel 10 kilometers up river to the flattest water imaginable, in fact, the water is so flat, it is like glass. For those who have never done it before, we are at hand to show you the "ropes", while the old hands can expend as much energy as they like cutting the wake on the ski course or in open water. You can also try your hand at knee-boarding, wake-boarding, air chair, trick-skiing or go to the extreme barefoot. The not-so-energetic can spend a leisurely day soaking up the sun.Overnight accommodation is also offered if you stay for a day or more. An evening barbecue is also provided for overnight guests. Round trip transport is provided from any departure point in Cape Town. |
