Walls and lining of the case

The basic shell of the case is constructed from 6mm plywood. On the outside of that is laminated 0.7mm thick "Stucco" aluminium sheet. The inside is lined throughout with an expanded polyethylene closed cell foam (45 density). The foam is extremely lightweight and very shock absorbant as well as being supportive of the equipment inside.
