GUIDED ROCK CLIMBING WITHIN SOUTH AFRICA
South Africa has a wealth of quality rock climbing. Some of the areas and routes are, according to quite a considerable number of visitors, absolutely worldclass. Several of the sportclimbing areas are very good, but perhaps not THE best on the planet. It is on the traditional, or adventure, climbing front that South African climbing really shines. Then, of course, there is the well documented bouldering at venues like Rocklands and Topside, the praises of which have been sung by the likes of Nicole, Moffat, Petit, Loskot, Caldwell, Skinner, and many other climbing luminaries.

Our guiding service is aimed mainly at those, already quite experienced, climbers who find themselves here in South Africa without a climbing partner, and who don't want to waste time getting lost or trying to find a local who can fit into their schedule. While the majority of our guiding is on routes requiring leader placed protection, we also enjoy road trips to the many, and varied, sport climbing venues scattered around South Africa.
So, no matter what grade you climb, whether you want to climb single pitch sport or trad, classic multi-pitch cragging, long backcountry routes with serious approaches and descents, limestone, sandstone, quartzite, dolerite, basalt or granite, let us assist you in achieving maximum enjoyment. Our guides are passionate about climbing in this part of the world, are out there climbing at every opportunity, and are keen to share their knowledge with you.
