1. Corner Posts
Corner posts are manufactured from 60mm diameter x 3.5mm thick tubular steel. The posts remain undrilled and are sealed off at the top by means of a plastic cap.
2. Intermediate Posts
Intermediate posts are manufactured from 60mm diameter x 2mm thick tubular steel. The posts remain undrilled and are sealed off at the top by means of an aluminium top rail cap.
3. Top Rail
The top rail is manufactured from 38mm diameter x 2mm thick tubular steel and is joined every 6 metres by means of a nylon spigot. The top rail passes though the aluminium top cap on the intermediate post and is connected to the corner post by means of an aluminium cup and a stainless steel bracket.
4. Bracing
Straining stability is achieved by using a 3 metre length of top rail fitted horizontally between the corner and adjacent post 1.5 metre high.. Double stranded 3.15mm diameter straining wire fitted between the stainless steel foot bracket of the corner post and the connecting bracket at the horizontal rail of the intermediate posts.
5. Foundations
Corner posts and gate frames 450 x 450 x 600m Intermediate posts 400 x 400 x 600m All bases are cast insitu using 15MPa mass concrete
6. Gates
A gate, 1m wide x 2m high, complete with an 'H' type gate frame concreted into position and fitted into the main fence.
A gate, 1m wide x 2m high, can be fitted into the dropside fence.
Gate frames are manufactured from 38mm diameter x 2mm wall tubular steel and covered with mesh to match the fence.
A mortice lock or sliding bolt can be fitted if specified.

8. Finish
All steel components are hot dip galvanised after manufacture to SABS 763 of 1977 and remain unpainted.
