1.1 FRAME: The top and vertical rails of the frame are manufactured from 60 x 40 x 2mm rectangular section, the bottom rail member 100 x60 x 2.5mm rectangular section.
1.2 BARS: The bars are welded into the frame at 150c/c. For bar diam see below table.
1.3 WHEELS: Cast iron supporting wheels with dust proof roller bearings fitted inside the bottom horizontal member. Two wheels per gate for widths from 4000 to 7000 and four wheels per gate for widths from 8000 to 14000.
1.4 RAZOR COMB: Optional for the 1800 high gates and standard on all the heights from 2000 to 3000 high.
2. Gate Type
2.1.1 GATE: Constructed to accommodate V-groove wheels with roller bearings and racking device bolted on for motor drive.
2.1.2 POSTS: Holding and closing posts made of mild steel lipped channel or square box section finished off as above and concreted in position.
2.1.3 TRACK: 20mm diameter solid mild steel bar welded to I-beam with lugs, bolted and concreted into position.
2.1.4 MOTORS: 220 volt single phase 50 cycle with rack and pinion drive mechanism

2.1.5 OPERATING CONTROLS: Hand held remote controlled transmitters. Push button control from internal security station. Manually operated key switch for pedestrian traffic, externally mounted. Photo cell opening mechanism also available.

2.2 Swing Gates
2.2.1 HINGED GATES:
GATE: Hinged to mild steel post. POST: Mild steel capped box section. Concreted into position.
2.2.2 PINTLE HINGED GATE:
HINGES: Mild steel hinges with thrust bushes, bolted to wall or column with fixing anchors.
2.2.3 MOTORS: 220 Volt single phase 50 cycle 0.37kW per leaf.
2.2.4 OPERATING CONTROLS: Hand held remote controlled transmitters. Push button control from internal security station. manually operated key switch for pedestrian traffic, externally mounted. Photo cell opening mechanism also available
