1. Wire
Pre-galvanised wire is used in the manufacture of welded mesh. The class of galvanising is determined by the amount of zinc on the wire after galvanising. Two classes of galvanising are available Class 'C', which is commonly used and Class 'A', if specified.
2. Manufacturing Process
Wires are electronically wired together at every intersection for form a rigid mesh with spiked top.
4. Erection Process
Straining wires are strained between straining posts and secured to the intermediate posts with binding wire. The mesh is either tied on by means of a Hartco clip mechanically fixed using a pneumatically operated hartco gun. Rolls of mesh can be joined by overlapping vertically by not less than 100mm and clipped ot tied together.
