Please make sure you visit the town when you come to fly, if only for a good breakfast at Cornberg Cafe, supper at the Cornberg Restaurant or a bit of site-seeing / shopping (Hoek van holland, cafe) / praying (church) or playing (clay-pigeon shooting, horse-riding, waterskiing at misverstand). The site itself is controlled by Bregda and Teubes Mostert at Hoogelee farm, where you'll find a well-serviced campsite with swimming pool and braai room / tuckshop. Access to the site is stricly controlled and every pilot must sign in before going up the mountain. Flying the site requires permission from the Langebaanweg Air Traffic Control by phoning and getting clearance for altitude (usually FL85 = 2350m above sea level) and course (usually towards Citrusdal). 1.
